Direct Reports: Sales Teams, Branch Managers, Marketing Director, Controller, Human Resource Manager, Dispatchers, Branch Operations

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee daily operations, improve efficiency, and scale our business effectively. We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive our growth, expand our team, and help us reach new markets.

POSITION SUMMARY

The COO will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while executing the CEO’s vision. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in logistics, multi-location service businesses, or franchise operations. The COO will ensure streamlined processes, accountability, and growth while leading and mentoring teams across all branches. As we continue to grow, the COO will play a critical role in expanding our team, enhancing our service offerings, and ensuring long-term success.

Key Responsibilities1. Operational Leadership & Efficiency

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution across branches.
  • Optimize dispatcher workloads, ensuring manageable workloads
  • Implement scalable processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all locations.
  • Manage fleet utilization, inventory, and equipment optimization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in operations, logistics, or multi-location service businesses.
  • Proven leadership experience in relocation, storage, transportation, or logistics.
  • Strong ability to streamline operations, enforce SOPs, and improve efficiency.
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and profitability optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
  • Experience scaling businesses, launching new locations, and optimizing costs.
  • Hands-on leadership style—must be willing to be directly involved in operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing a workforce with multiple locations.
  • Background in management or corporate service expansion.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, dispatch software, and fleet management technology.
  • Previous success in reducing costs, increasing profitability, and scaling operations.
