Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site in Reading five days a week.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our secure project. In this role, you will work with a small development team while providing fourth-line support, investigating application issues, implementing bug fixes, and delivering updates to our system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide fourth-line support by investigating and resolving application issues.
• Implement bug fixes and application updates.
• Lead and mentor a small development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and improvement of the application.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Strong background in ASP.Net C# development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SQL Server, web services, and team leadership is advantageous but not essential.
