Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
- Minimum three (3) years of experience performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results for C4ISR systems
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with system of systems design and development to C4ISR systems
- Minimum three (3) years of experience architecting, reviewing, analyzing, testing and modifying systems of systems designs and implementations for C4ISR systems
Desired Skills:
- Experience performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results for C4ISR systems
- Experience with system of systems design and development to C4ISR systems.
- Experience architecting, reviewing, analyzing, testing and modifying systems of systems designs and implementations for C4ISR systems
- Experience with open architecture constructs like Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems (OMS), Open Communication Standard (OCS); utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
- Experience with LPD (Low Probability of Detection) and LPI (Low Probability of Intercept) waveforms and anti-jam waveforms
Description:
- Supports the Government Tactical Air (TACAIR) Reference Implementation Laboratory (RIL) at NIWC Pacific, in San Diego, CA
- Evaluates or develops complex system designs and architectures for next generation tactical data links
- Provides communications systems, cybersecurity, and anti-tamper engineering expertise and support to provide technical and managerial expertise for configuration management, program protection, tracking and reporting, reliability, COMSEC, TEMPEST, national and cybersecurity, electrical power, manufacturing, safety, and human factors technical and program requirements
- Provides engineering expertise to support emerging platform requirements definition and integration support, including review of platform documentation, specifications, and drawings and participating in associated Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), teleconferences, and platform Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process events
- Plans and conducts systems engineering, engineering analyses, trade studies, and feasibility assessments supporting systems engineering activities, including technical support for Analyses of Alternatives (AoA)
