Purpose
The Associate Attorney will primarily handle eviction matters for the firm. Prior eviction litigation experience is preferred, but not required. The Associate Attorney will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the eviction process on behalf of our clients. Must be licensed in California, but can work remotely from any state. Additional bar licenses are preferred, but not required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Member of the California State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience practicing law
  • Eviction, foreclosure, litigation or title experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating eviction caseload, providing legal advice to clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents including complaints, motions and opposition, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Representing clients in court hearings. Prior courtroom experience is preferred.
  • Responsible for staying current on eviction law changes and trends throughout the United States.
  • Educating clients regarding eviction law changes and trends.
