Cabinet Delivery Driver

GCW is currently looking to add to our Shipping Team!
Cabinet Delivery Drivers at GCW Custom Kitchens and Cabinetry are responsible for receiving all shipments and deliveries and delivering GCW products over established routes. As a shipper you will be required to load the vehicle, record delivery information, inspect quality of goods upon delivery, and ensure overall vehicle safety, rules of the road, and appropriate company policies and procedures regarding delivery of goods.

Shipping Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive GCW trucks to pick up and deliver cabinetry products to established routes
• Ensure correct loading of delivery vehicle, using provided tools as appropriate
• Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered
• Communicate with shipping team leader before, during, and after delivery
• Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written-form
• Complete all necessary paperwork at end of shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.

Preferred skills/Job Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record; a drivers abstract may be required
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Must be able to work with little supervision and must be self-directed
• Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
• An individual who is punctual and who works in an effective and efficient manner
• Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Training in a postsecondary education is preferred but not required
