Cabinet/millwork Installer position
Our custom kitchen installation company is looking for an experienced Cabinet/millwork installer. We specialize in Kitchens and bathrooms and require an individual who is capable of thinking outside the box and providing client excellence. The ideal candidate will have his or her own vehicle and basic tools of the trade. Most work is completed on-site. The chosen individual will meet the high demands and skill set required to keep up with our fast passed and energetic team. We require a minimum of one year experience of installing cabinets and/or millwork shop experience. If this sounds like a good fit, please apply with resume/portfolio in person.

Responsibilities:

Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work
Meet with homeowners and designers to discuss build-out specifications
Mediate between homeowners and designers to find workable solutions that appeal to both parties
Build Kitchen cabinets, vanities, and other projects based on demand
Read and interpret design plans and appliance specifications
Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
Install cabinets, counters and molding
Follow all code requirements for kitchens and baths in remodeling projects
Qualifications & skills
1+ years’ experience installing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry
1+ years’ experience in finish carpentry preferred
Additional 1+ years’ experience in rough carpentry preferred
Extensive knowledge of finishing tools and power tools.
Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying 40 lbs
Experience working on smartphones and tablets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
