Cabinet Maker (LMIA available)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team (LMIA available). As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling cabinets and other wooden furniture pieces. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials.
Duties:
- Measure, cut, and shape custom millwork pieces according to specifications
- Assemble cabinets and furniture using screws, nails, or other fasteners
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs
- Sand and smooth surfaces to ensure a polished finish
- Study blueprints or drawings
- Match materials for color, grain, or texture.
- Apply stains, varnishes, or paints to enhance the appearance of the finished product
- Inspect completed cabinets for quality and accuracy
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture components
- Study blueprints or drawings

- Complete other tasks delivered by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a cabinetmaker
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity
- Comfortable wearing steel-toed safety shoes
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good English language skills.
- Proficient in using woodworking tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$27.50 per hour
