JOB SUMMARY AND JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize Cabinet Vision software to design, draft, and process custom cabinets and woodwork.
  • Create submittal and shop drawing packages.
  • Prepare a bill of materials for projects processed to the floor.
  • Assemble work order packets for the shop.
  • Provide support to the production, supply chain, and project management team for your projects.
  • Consistently uphold departmental quality standards.
  • Learns Britten Woodworks software systems, processes and procedures quickly, and consistently shares ideas for improvement.
  • Continuously seeks out ways to increase the profitability and efficiency of their projects.
  • Maintains a high level of respect and communication with internal and external clients.
  • Has an intimate knowledge of their projects throughout all stages of planning and production.
  • Currently utilizes industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide the client with creative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in drafting, engineering, or architectural millwork related field preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Solidworks, Microvellum, or other engineering software preferred.
  • Engineering, woodworking, cabinet making, or industrial design background.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Products.
  • Sees challenges as opportunities and enjoys discovering solutions to overcome them.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
