ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Maxxit Group is currently looking for an experienced full time CAD Designer to oversee a large roll out of custom cabinet systems. This role is pivotal to our success and the ideal candidate would be working with a high-volume client and have experience reading, reviewing, and marking up architectural drawings. The incumbent would be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain all drawings and CAD documentation for a minimum of 5 store locations per week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Review and markup client architectural drawings with Project Manager.
• Assign projects to CAD Engineers with resources to meet tight deadlines.
• Provide all documents and direction to CAD Engineer.
• Review drawings that come back from Engineer and markup as necessary.
• Drawing store layouts if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering; or project management certificate from a recognized institution.
• Three to five years of proven engineering and project management experience; preferably with Civil, Structural, or Architectural background.
• Three to five years experience using drafting software; SolidWorks would be preferred.
• Cabinet System Design and implementation experience.
• Proven attention to detail with an engineering and design mindset.
• Ability to schedule and manage resources proactively and efficiently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, 3rd party contractors, and vendors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in use of MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Smart Sheet.
