CAD Drafting Technician / Technical Roof Processor

ICOTHERM ROOF SYSTEMS ARE LOOKING FOR A CAD DRAFTING TECHNICIAN / TECHNICAL ROOF PROCESSOR

As part of our on-going growth, we are now recruiting for a Technical Order Processor at our new office and factory in Blackburn.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Processing customer quotes, accurately and efficiently using in-house design software.
• Implementing and checking of customer orders
• Finalising orders from design through to manufacture
• Create full manufacturing packs and develop shop floor drawings.
• Liaise with office and factory when required, to ensure orders are being processed through correctly.
• Dealing with customer queries relating to quotes and orders via e-mail and telephone
• Assist in resolving any order-related issues or customer enquiries.
• On site assistance via telephone or e-mail for any design or technical issues
• Through training, gain knowledge and experience on Icotherms differing roof and wall systems.
• Follow established business processes and standard operating procedures.

We are looking for a new member to join our team who has the following skills:

• Specific product and software training will be given however ideally the candidate will already have a strong technical knowledge of the solid roof and/ or conservatory Industry.
• Experienced in order processing ideally using PST software or similar.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication capabilities.
• Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and plan.
• Competent in use of MS Office.
• Experience using Autodesk products (desired but not essential)

Working Hours 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 4.00pm Friday
