WHAT ARE YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE?
- CAD Engineering experience in a Manufacturing context (Toy Experience an asset but not mandatory. Consumer packaged goods or injection molding experience highly valued.)
- Sophisticated expertise in various CAD platforms (SolidWorks, OnShape, Freeform, Zbrush). Parametric CAD creation and manipulation skills essential, in addition, strong preference to prior experience with sculpted mesh CAD manipulation
- Ability to design functional small Plastic Injection molding parts and assemblies.
- Understanding of industrial robotics and their application in manufacturing (Articulated, SCARA, Delta, and Cartesian Robots)
- Solid understanding of rapid prototyping methods and 3D printing.
- Ability to carry out ,or commission, and review Mold Flow part analysis
- Ability to ideate, create, design, and test mechanical assemblies, apparatus, and mechanisms used in production of small to medium size items.
- A solid understanding of materials and materials handling equipment in factories. Specifically engineering polymers, commodity polymers, primary focus on PP, ABS, PVC, TPR, POM.
- Ability to travel internationally and within North America if needed
