Description:

We are looking for a CAD/Revit Modeller!

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Work to develop strong, ongoing relationships with clients

General Management

  • Generate suggestions for improving work
  • Keep Group Lead or direct supervisor appraised of activities
  • Participate in training courses as required
  • Schedule workload appropriately, maximizing productive time
  • Work enthusiastically with the Group to accomplish common objectives

Production

  • Communicate regularly with team to ensure schedules are met
  • Comply with company Design, CAD and REVIT Standards
  • Create AutoCAD and REVIT drawings from mark-ups or based on instructions from Group members
  • Perform design calculations under the guidance of Group members
  • Create working drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT following established company standards
  • Establish communications with “Architect” for proper transfer of drawings between offices
  • Highlight completed mark-ups and return drawings
  • Layout and size mechanical systems as directed
  • Maintain drawings including architectural backgrounds up-to-date
  • Organize and print drawing sets as requested in a timely fashion
  • Produce plot files, PDF’s, part plans, CNs and SIs as required
  • Review drawings for quality control
  • Set up drawings in an organized fashion and appropriately labeled
  • Set up X-Refs
  • Store, manage and archive drawing files and record sets of drawings in accordance with company Project Management Standards
  • Store and manage project documentation in accordance with company Project Management Standards

Skills & Qualifications

  • College Diploma or Technical Training in AutoCAD, Building Design, REVIT, 3-D modelling
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modelling and REVIT
  • Experience with reading and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Architectural drawings
  • Experience with Windows and general computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to think independently
