We carry out HVAC projects all over thee UK from design through to manufacture and installation, and have a strong customer base in the restaurant sector. We are licenced manufacturers of CASWELL FIRESAFE® a leading global brand of fire resisting ductwork, and supply certified systems to a wide range of industries and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Good standard of education, numerate, literate, IT skills
NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in AutoCAD
ONC/HNC in Building Services or another relevant subject (desirable)
Proficient in the operation of the latest versions of AutoCAD and CADmep+
A strong knowledge of materials of construction and the HVAC industry
Full working knowledge of Microsoft packages and other standard office software and equipment

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Protect the company’s position and always represent the company in a professional manner.

  • Prepare accurate drawings using the latest AutoCAD and CADmep+ software in both 2 and 3D working within the time restrains of the programme.
  • Design/development of design and build HVAC Contracts. This will include preparing equipment, diffuser and attenuator schedules.
  • Liaise with client, architect or designer to request information, to resolve drawing issues and answer technical queries.
  • Using the databases and systems to produce and issue Works Orders for manufacture, Stores Requisitions and Delivery Notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Job Files, both electronic and paper and maintain drawing registers.
  • Prepare Installation Packs and Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
  • Visit sites to measure, or commission.
  • Provide office support to the Project Managers, dealing with telephone queries from customers or our site installation teams.
  • As a part of your training you will assist in the estimation.
  • Attend training courses when necessary for the needs of the business and own personal development.
  • Complete accurate daily time recordings of hours worked using the correct systems.
  • Practice good housekeeping and work in a tidy and organised manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and put your ideas forward to your Line Manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, risk assessments and safe working practices, protecting your own health and safety and that of others.
