Catalyx is seeking a CAD Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Co. Kerry.

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate and precise designs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or a related field.
  • Certification in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with 3D modeling software.
  • Knowledge of building design and mechanical processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Translate rough sketches, specifications, and ideas into detailed drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and modify designs based on feedback from clients and team members.
  • Conduct final model rendering and deliver the final product.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
  • Complete job reports and documentation as required.
