The CAD Technician will work with a team of designers, engineers and project managers utilizing AutoCAD and related products to produce complete drawing deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 6 months of drafting experience
- Disciplined in Architectural/Civil/Mechanical Technology or Technician
- Proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD
- Experienced with structural steel, reinforced concrete, steel plate and mechanical design
- Understanding of engineering principles, assembly, fabrication, and construction
- Knowledge of engineering workflow process and industry standards
- Ability to work in teams on completion of deliverables with challenging schedules
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
Responsibilities:
- Develop reinforced concrete drawings based on design provided by engineers.
- Develop mechanical drawings based on contractual requirement.
- Develop annotative details and sections.
- Develop shop drawings (steel plate and piping).
- Coordinate with engineers, shop and construction operations to meet fabrication and constructability requirements.
