Job Description
This is an existing role that will see you learn hands on while studying a degree in a very supported environment to become a Civil Designer.
You will assist in the engineering design and documentation for exciting and important infrastructure projects in our region. You will get exposure to projects involving roads, bridges, buildings, water infrastructure and renewable energy.

About the Role

  • Help other drafters/designers compile drawing sets using software such as Autodesk and Bentley
  • Undertake quantity calculations to generate bill of quantities
  • Assist in record keeping of design files
  • Be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering project outcomes
  • Study externally through the University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ) an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (4 year part time course)

Successful applicants will need to meet the enrolment requirements into an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Qld

Qualifications
Mackay is one of seven AECOM Queensland based offices.
Our 27 dedicated staff provided engineering/design and project delivery services in the fields of Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil,Geotechnical, Water and Project and Construction Management.
