Stellarossa is excited to announce the opening of our new kiosk café in the Harvey Norman Homemaker Centre, MacGregor, and we’re looking to build a talented and passionate team! We’re hiring multiple positions, including a Shift Supervisor, Food and Beverage Attendants, and Junior team members. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant new location with a supportive team environment. We offer competitive hourly wages per the Restaurant Industry Award (Casual) + super + opportunities for incentives! Weekend availability is essential.
At Stellarossa, our mission is to provide the complete guest service experience at each of our locally owned and operated cafés. We focus on delivering premium service, perfect coffee, and delicious meals made fresh in-house using local produce.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Shift Supervisor: Experience in a leadership role within a café or similar environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Food and Beverage Attendants: Experience in a café or hospitality role, strong coffee-making skills, and knowledge of food preparation.
  • Junior Positions: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Availability to work weekends is essential for all roles.
  • A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Openness to learning and following established systems.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLES

As part of the team at Stellarossa MacGregor Kiosk Café, you’ll be involved in various aspects of café operations. Whether you’re leading as a Shift Supervisor, preparing gourmet sandwiches and beverages as a Food and Beverage Attendant, or learning the ropes in a Junior position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. These are casual positions with plenty of hours available, including weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shift Supervisor: Lead and support the team, manage daily operations, ensure high standards of service and quality, and handle cash transactions.
  • Food and Beverage Attendants: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, cold drinks, gourmet sandwiches, and basic breakfast and lunch items.
  • Junior Positions: Assist with various tasks, including food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Interact with guests, taking their orders and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Support your team members and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
