CAFÉ AND RETAIL ASSISTANT

Location: Andover, Hampshire
Salary: £11.44 per hour

As a Retail & Tearoom Assistant based at Enham Trust Charity Shop, you will work as part of the team to ensure the efficient running of the charity shop and café. In the charity shop you will sort and price donations, operate the till system to take payments and serve customers. Proactively sign up and process gift aid. The role will be on a casual contract, with at least 10 working hours per week. The Charity shop is open Monday – Saturday (9.00am – 4.30pm)
In the café you will carry out basic catering tasks including food preparation, hot and cold beverage making, cleaning, taking orders using the till and serving food to customers.

You will need:

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Demonstratable skills of good retail practice
• Experience of working within a customer facing role
• No formal qualifications required
• To pass our DBS check or be on the DBS Update Service

Even better if you have experience in a simar role!
