JOB DESCRIPTION:
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Summerset, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café. At Summerset, we’re passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly.
We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart! Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure that all elements are completed as documented
- Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen
- Working with the chef to unload and put away stock
Supporting the chef with food preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal candidate will:
- be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude
- enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests
- have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
- have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable
- enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team.
