CAFÉ ASSISTANT MANAGER – THE PIE MAN, CHELSEA GREEN

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised superstar to join the team at our busy Chelsea neighbourhood café serving customers, overseeing menus, assisting in the kitchen and helping to manage the team. The candidate must be numerate, have a passion for food and be happy working with a small and efficient customer facing team.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Customer service experience in a specialist food, cafe, hospitality environment
• An open and enthusiastic personality, and a genuine love for engaging with customers
• Show an authentic personal interest in food, working closely with our chef to ensure the menus are interesting, well presented and most importantly, delicious
• Excellent command of the English language and outstanding communication skills
• A can-do positive attitude and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment whilst retaining attention to detail
• Be organised and reliable
• Be ambitious and willing to input ideas to develop the business
• Be physically active and able to lift, pull, push and happy with stairs
• Be able to work flexibly and commit to a full-time rota that changes weekly and involves occasionally working weekends, early mornings and late afternoons
• All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
• Experience of operating an EPOS till system is a bonus
• Familiarity with barista techniques is a bonus
• Need to be willing to learn and take instruction, but also to use initiative and support other team members
