JOB DESCRIPTION:

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Summerset, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café. At Summerset, we’re passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly, with 30+ villages from Warkworth to Dunedin.
We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart! Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.
This is a permanent weekend position working 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude
  • enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests
  • have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
  • have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable
  • enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team.
