We are currently recruiting for a Training Coordinator to be based at Cairns Airport on a Full-Time basis.

As an Aviation Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of the programming and delivery of Aviation Security training at the site. Be an advocate for Trident Services Aviation and Transport, focused on being an integral part of the engaged aviation team. The role contributes to capability development and standards compliance of the APO team in protecting the skies and creating an exceptional ‘customer experience’ which will significantly contribute to our clients’ achieving their commercial objectives and promoting the desired work culture around the Trident Services Visions and Values.
This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to learn more or build on their existing knowledge of the Aviation industry.

- Sound experience in a complex regulatory compliance and training delivery work environment
- Sound experience in the design and delivery of training curriculum
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a large diverse team
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and strong computer skills
- A calm and agile approach to managing frequently changing requirements
- The ability to multi-task, problem solve and work well under pressure
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will have:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) plus TAELLN unit
- Certificate II Transport Security Protection (or ability to obtain), or grandfathered screener.
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain an ASIC

Responsibilities:
NOT ESSENTIAL THE FOLLOWING WOULD BE DESIRABLE FOR THIS ROLE:
- Current Security Licence
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and in the delivery and assessment of training.
- Flexibility to travel domestically between Trident Aviation sites
NOT ESSENTIAL THE FOLLOWING WOULD BE DESIRABLE FOR THIS ROLE:
- Current Security Licence
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and in the delivery and assessment of training.
- Flexibility to travel domestically between Trident Aviation sites

- Assist the Training Manager to Deliver and maintain compliance of the National Aviation Screener Accreditation Scheme across all sites (NASAS)
- Coaching and mentoring training staff and employees to achieve a positive compliance outcome and achievement of contractual objectives and targets
- Working in conjunction with the Training Manager, developing and maintaining training plans
- Scheduling training sessions and ensuring all training and competency assessments are conducted in BA365
- Assist the Training Manager in the Management of on-site training files and relevant documentation to ensure compliance with the regulations
- Administration associated with the coordination and delivery of all courses including conducting enrolments, assessments, collating documentation, and feedback mechanisms
- Continuously ensure own performance meets and exceeds against Trident Services and Client Standards, Policies and Procedures.
- Fulfil the responsibilities stated in the Trident Services HSE Policy and Procedures.
- Follow process control documentation such as Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) or work instructions
