Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION CAISSON MANAGEMENT LEAD TECHNICIAN WITH STORK:

Primary purpose of the role is to lead and perform offshore/onsite caisson management services team (including but not limited to caisson inspections and repairs), maintain and develop bespoke caisson management tooling and provide technical support to the wider business.
As Team Leader this roles includes delegating tasks, mentoring junior members of the team, responsible for workshop activities and deputising for Caisson Management Project Manager.
In addition, the secondary purpose of the role is to support mechanical and industrial services with multi-disciplined ad-hoc offshore/site scopes.

MULTI SKILLING TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Assist other industrial and mechanical service product lines with ad-hoc scopes. Scopes may
  • include, but not limited to :
  • Specialist cleaning/jetting
  • Working at height
  • Rope access
  • Rigging and lifting
  • Mechanical fitting
  • Confined entry

EDUCATION

  • Mechanical course to HNC/HND level – preferred but not essential.
  • Ultrasonic PCN 3.1/3.2 Qualification
  • Rigging and Lifting
  • Rope access

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in a similar role within the oil and gas / energy sector.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Computer literate with experience in using Microsoft Office products.
  • Good attention to detail and diligent.
  • Capable of working as part of a team as well as with minimum supervision.
  • A clear and concise commitment to providing quality service delivery standards, responsive to business demands.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals outside of the Company.

  • Offshore travel as required

Responsibilities:

TEAM LEADER DUTIES

  • Delegate tasks and manage work loads of other technicians.
  • Priorities tasks of team.
  • Maintaining close liaison with line manager and providing daily updates on project activities and performance.
  • Attend and report monthly with Caisson Management Project Manager and Engineering Manager.
  • Manage workshop area and bespoke caisson management tooling.
  • Retain records and equipment inventories.
  • Engage with R-Plant for all equipment.
  • Project management duties in absence of Project Manager
  • Create and maintain workshop processes and procedures
  • Create workshop risk assessment and maintain COSHH assessments
  • Assist and contribute to work pack creation
  • Control and maintain competency profiles of junior members of the team
