We are seeking an exceptional Baker, with the passion to produce the finest quality bakery products especially a deep passion for cakes, donuts, cookies and everything sweet. This is an opportunity for people who are passionate about baking, already in the retail industry, and love to work in a busy, customer focused environment. If you have worked in cake stores, private bakeries or even cafes we want to hear from you. You don’t need supermarket experience to apply, you will get that here working at Pukekohe New World

You will:

• Help us deliver outstanding Cakes to a very high standard
• Wanting help to develop a cake book for our customers to choose from.
• Start developing and deliver on a new area of the business (to be discussed at interview)
• Must be able to do the basics right
• Must be able to make and bake Sponge cakes, Madeira cakes, fruit cakes etc.
• Understand about scratch baking
• Be able to make and bake slices and biscuits and scones.
• Understand Food Safety, and Health & Safety principles.
• Be willing to work different shifts if required.

Hours and Days to be discussed on interview. This is full time role in the team, but could potentially be part time for the right candidate.
