• Design and calculation of boiler and system components according to PED, in particular EN 12952, also EN 13480, EN 13445, ASME
• Application and use of standard calculation tools, in particular PROBAD and Rohr 2
• Creation and use of calculation tools based on Excel and VBA
• Developing creative solutions for complex design challenges
• Ensuring that the calculation verifications are adapted to the order process on schedule
• Working closely with other departments to optimise design and production processes
• Coordinating the calculation points with the NOBO preliminary inspection centre, the customer and the ZÜS
