Description:

DESCRIPTION

Under moderate supervision, the PBX/ Call Center Representative answers a multi-incoming computerized PBX system and directs calls to the appropriate extension, department or individual. Responsible for monitoring and responding appropriately to medical emergency alarms, fire, and equipment failure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 1 year Answering service background, or professional switchboard operation.
  • Experience with heavy call traffic, multi-incoming and outgoing lines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years experience with computerized switchboard operation.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • 1 year PBX Operator
