Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in FRANKFORT, Kentucky. This role involves providing customer service in a call center environment, specifically for Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 clients. The successful candidate will be expected to answer and resolve customer inquiries, maintain customer records, and process necessary paperwork. This is a part time schedule opportunity working in office in Frankfort, with around 20-25 hours a week. Apply today to be considered if you are open to part time!
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by answering phone calls and resolving queries or directing them as needed.
- Update the Housing Choice Voucher database with pertinent information to keep all parties up-to-date on client issues.
- Handle mail requests, ensuring necessary documents are sent to customers in a timely manner.
- Play an active role in processing and tracking time-sensitive documents.
- Assist with general office duties such as filing and mailings.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
- Use customer service software to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers patiently and professionally.
- Provide information related to Housing Choice Voucher Program, community resources and company policies and procedures.
- Role open to applicants with zero or more years of experience
- Proficiency in using customer service software is required
- Must be comfortable answering inbound calls
- Ability to assist customers in a professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Open to learning and adapting to new technologies and tools
- High school diploma or equivalent education level is required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays
