In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring patients and their families receive the assistance they need through phone interactions. The Call Support Specialist will be responsible for answering and directing calls, providing information, and offering solutions to callers, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual within the organization
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Assisting with patient appointment scheduling and managing appointment reminders
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all phone interactions
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to phone systems, when applicable
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Conducting follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and gather feedback on the provided services
