CALLING ALL ENGINEERS : TUTOR OF DESIGN & ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY
Ref: 2324/161
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40,109 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications). Plus generous benefits. These include:
- 55 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)
- Generous Occupational Pension Scheme
- Financial support towards teacher training course fees if you do not have a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) – worth up to £6,000 over two years

Responsibilities:
Are you working or teaching in the field of engineering, design and/or manufacturing?! Would you be interested in a rewarding role which supports the development of future engineering workforce. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who would relish the opportunity to share their knowledge, skills and industry experience to teach, support and develop our next generation of engineers.
This is a great opportunity to inspire our future engineers, teaching across a range of vocational engineering & manufacturing programmes and Apprenticeship Standards. Predominantly our Level 3 programmes such as our BTEC Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and our T Level Engineering Manufacturing Design and Development. The successful candidate would need engineering & manufacturing/design technology experience to deliver a range of topics from engineering materials and processes to engineering design, as well as project based teaching, supporting students to develop skills to create successful protypes and solutions. General workshop skills are an advantage, any experience with Computer Numerical Control & Manufacture (Lathe & Mill), 2D / 3D CAD (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks), 3D printing/additive manufacture would be of benefit, but not essential.
