Description:
Our high-flying vision at Kelluu is to transform airships into a new, compact, high-tech form and answer the ever-increasing threat to our lives due to the climate change crisis. By scanning and collecting real-time data from the air with Kelluu airships, we can prevent and minimize, for example, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters globally, all with nearly zero emissions. https://kelluu.com/
We are an innovative startup company transforming the landscape of aerial monitoring through pioneering autonomous airship technology. The things we do are not easy, but we are very committed and on the right track to create something that hasn’t been done before.
We are looking for a Camera Engineer.
You design and integrate sensors into our autonomous airship platforms. We need a person who can solve complex problems daily along with our R&D team.
Here are some of the core responsibilities that you’d work with:
- Design, develop, and test integrated sensors and camera systems for our autonomous airship platform
- Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) sensors to expand our autonomous airship’s sensing capabilities
- Design and integrate multispectral and luminescence sensors, taking into account radiometric calibration for data capture
- Apply a deep understanding of optics to enhance imaging capabilities, including the integration of C-mount optics into our systems.
- Utilize your familiarity with the NVIDIA Jetson platform.
We think that you should have some prior background with the following:
- Experience in camera interfaces, notably MIPI/CSI-2, GigE Vision, and FPD-Link III. Familiarity with the NVIDIA Jetson platform is a plus
- General experience with aerial imaging is a nice background for this role, along with the technical requirements
- Relevant degree and experience working with different sensors and system design. Experience with autonomous systems or vehicles is considered a plus.
However, we don’t expect you to know everything about the things we mentioned. Curiosity by nature is somewhat mandatory and you need to be technically gifted in order to succeed.
