Description:
Clinical To lead alongside Team Managers, and other Lead Clinicians on ensuring the highest quality of clinical care is delivered within the service. Operate as a highly skilled Social Work practitioner to provide specialist interventions and manage an appropriate clinical caseload of clients with highly complex and challenging needs, demonstrating knowledge of professional models of practice. Lead on and promote evidence-based practice in social work across the CAMHS Acute pathway Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensureeffectiveness of interventions. Provide highly specialist mental health assessment, formulation, intervention, review andwhere appropriate CPA including care co-ordination for the young people we work with, their families and carers.
Lead the development of multi-disciplinary best practice clinical guidelines and protocols. Supervise the work of more junior staff and provide support and guidance. Ensure that up to date written and electronic records and activity data are maintained inaccordance with Professional and Trust standards and to provide specialist social work reportsrelevant to the practice setting. This will require standard key board skills.
