Supporting our CAMHS services primarily across the London, East Anglia & Southeast region, join Elysium as the Regional Training Officer, where you will provide high quality classroom & Virtual based training, on-ward coaching, and support in all aspects of required training including the Therapeutic Management of Violence and Aggression (MVA) across the region.
Reporting to the Deputy Regional Training Manager, you will liaise with the central L&D Team and the senior management at services across the region to identify staff training and development needs, and support the planning, organising, and the delivering of appropriate training.
Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- To support the training hub with training delivery, as part of the induction programme, refresher training, and specialist service/department delivery
- To provide support with training requirements as identified by the Regional STMVA Lead, Deputy Regional Training Manager and Hospital Directors
- To ensure that all training has an inclusive approach and can evidence best practice.
- To work with the sites to ensure all they have access to the required learning opportunities, working in the designated geographic area.
- To react positively to hot topics, changes in legislation, governing body impacts or corporate policy changes.
- To take part, as directed, in the review/design process of training packages and related policies on a predetermined basis.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL HAVE:
- Engaging presentation and delivery skills.
- You’ll be qualified GSA STMVA Trainer (or willing to gain the qualification)
- Evidence of training experience.
- Experience of working within a CAMHS or Mental Health setting.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Possess effective time management and organisational skills
- Current Driving Licence
- Ability to stay away from home-base as required
