SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in camp or youth program settings.
- Wilderness First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Certifications in NLS, Waterfront, Canoe/Kayak, and Pleasure Craft Operator are assets.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility with work hours and site locations.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Employment is contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a Social Development Clearance Check.

Responsibilities:
- Guide Junior Leadership campers in goal setting, skill development, and team building.
- Plan and execute all aspects of canoe trips, including meal plans, food orders, transportation logistics, camper medication, and gear packing.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures tailored to leadership programs.
- Care for, organize, and inventory all camping equipment and supplies.
- Participate in planning and delivering staff training programs for counseling staff.
- Serve as a positive role model in all areas of camp life, fostering respect, inclusivity, and fun.
- Assist with broader camp operations as needed by the Camp Director.
- Supervise multiple activities, ensuring camper safety, and performing First Aid/CPR when required.
- Collaborate with your team to structure and deliver meaningful activities for children.
