Description:

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to be in the Toronto office a minimum of 2 days per week.
The Senior Analyst will have experience working with marketing databases and building and automating complex direct marketing campaigns that drive the business forward. Working with Leads Management, responsibilities include implementing campaign data requirements developed by internal business partners, developing technical specifications, producing and quality-testing campaign data files, identifying and remediating issues along the campaign workflow, and managing relationships with stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage several campaign projects simultaneously. It is essential to have strong communication and project management skills. The Senior Analyst will develop a deep understanding of the campaign management tool and the content of the data warehouse. The right candidate must enjoy and excel at problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
- Coordinates and executes specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives; includes tracking metrics and milestones.
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
- Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
- Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
- Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
- Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.
- Works with business/group in the development and management of campaign budgets.
- Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines and governance.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
- Experience in project management.
- Advertising and/or creative agency experience an asset.
- Experience in, and advanced knowledge of, the financial services industry.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
