Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Campaign Sales Manager is responsible for driving fundraising efforts to support Alberta Ballet’s annual campaigns. This year’s campaign focuses on raising $350,000 to fund new costumes for the season’s productions, including La Sylphide, Grimm, Wizard of Oz, and Don Quixote. Campaigns will change from year to year depending on needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a dynamic personality to make the campaign exciting and successful.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, fundraising or campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding campaign targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire patrons.
  • Creative thinker with a dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in fundraising software and CRM systems.
  • Passion for the arts and an appreciation of ballet is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Fundraising Campaign Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive campaign strategy to meet the $350,000 goal.
  • Create compelling and engaging campaign materials that inspire patrons.
  • Plan and manage fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to attract and engage patrons and costume enthusiasts.

Donor Engagement and Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing patrons, ensuring regular communication and appreciation.
  • Identify and engage potential new patrons through various channels, including social media, events, and direct outreach.
  • Provide personalized and high-quality donor stewardship to ensure patron satisfaction and retention.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create exciting promotional content and campaigns that highlight the importance and impact of the fundraising efforts.
  • Leverage social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms to reach a wide audience and generate financial support.
  • Develop and implement creative ideas to generate buzz and excitement around the campaign.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Monitor and report on campaign progress, including tracking financial results, analyzing data, and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Prepare regular updates for the Director of Development and other stakeholders on campaign performance and milestones achieved.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the Development team to align campaign efforts with overall organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with the artistic and production teams to integrate campaign messaging with the season’s productions.
  • Engage and motivate volunteers and other team members to support campaign activities.
