Responsibilities:

An integral part of a successful campuses is our Administrators. This will be a challenging but rewarding role suited to a person who remains calm when juggling priorities and making things happen. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied day, interacting with people across all of our programmes and ensuring that day to day operations run smoothly. Reporting to the Administration Manager, this position will be instrumental in supporting our students and ensuring the Manukau Campus runs effectively. This role is part of a network of administrative staff who provide support to Academic teams as they engage with students in their learning journey at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT).
MIT’s primary customers are its students and, while these roles are not student-facing there is an expectation that the same level of support and engagement will be experienced by our students irrespective of which part of the business they choose to engage with. As such it is expected that there will be a strong, dynamic and collaborative relationship between this role and the student-facing team.
