  • Total Remuneration $117,129 to $127,380 pa (including salary of $98,976 to $107,638 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

CQUniversity’s Cairns Campus is seeking a passionate and motivated Campus Coordinator to join our team and contribute to achieving our strategic goals for the region. This pivotal role, within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, involves managing, coordinating, and integrating campus operations and activities. You will oversee operational matters, engage with stakeholders, and provide expert support and advice to faculties and divisions across various areas of responsibility.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our student community. Your primary objective will be to support the Associate Vice President with campus operations, develop plans and strategies, and ensure a positive student experience. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant experience in administrative roles and expertise in using large corporate systems. You will confidently manage campus operations, adhere to university policies, and consistently uphold a high standard of service.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven leadership ability with experience supervising a team and confidence using your initiative and judgement to make decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet, and large corporate information systems.
  • Ability to understand University policies, procedures, and tertiary sector issues.
  • Proven experience in senior administrative support, including document/report preparation, project support, research, and resolving complex matters.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships, collaborating, and negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Completed a relevant degree with four years of experience (desirable).
