Description:

Serves as an assistant to the current Manager of Events & Properties. Aids in logistics for all campus events-internal and external, assists with managing student workers, performs high-level cleaning of certain facilities, and promotes a positive guest experience at all levels.

Specifics Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains regular communications with Manager on all campus reservations.
  • Collaborates with multiple campus departments on logistics.
  • Manages physical set-up of tables, chairs, and other resources for campus needs. Must have the physical ability to safely and effectively lift, push, pull, and carry tables, chairs, and other resources
  • Serves as a back-up for Manager with the Skedda scheduling platform.
  • Performs cleaning at specific guest facilities with a high level of attention to detail. Must have the physical capabilities of using cleaning equipment and climbing a ladder, reaching, bending, and moving in all ways to perform cleaning duties.Must have the experience and ability to perform laundry duties.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas and campus resources.
  • Routinely cleans specific rental locations.
  • Manages the inventory of all departmental resources.
  • Services clients during events, camps, and conferences.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, customer experience 2 years
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and faculty at all levels
  • Evidence of management experience
  • Ability to multitask
