SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A good bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Systems or equivalent; Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Sound knowledge in equipment engineering specifications and standards, as well as with industrial standards and local codes.
  • An effective team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering expertise and support on Instrumentation for safe and reliable operations, maintenance work and projects for Singapore Manufacturing Complex (Singapore Chemical Plant and Singapore Refinery).
  • Prepare engineering assessments and designs, conduct troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis for instrumentation-related issues, including field instruments, control valves and programmable logic controllers.
  • Develop engineering solutions to address and resolve issues.
  • Manage long-term equipment improvement initiatives for the instrumentation fleet.
  • Provide technical training in instrumentation as needed.
