Oversees and directs the work of Packagers to ensure production is executed efficiently with a high quality product and minimal waste.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists the Production Manager with planning of production runs and the deployment of people and resources.
  • Responsible for the operation and pace of Line partnering with QA, Maintenance Mechanic and Packagers.
  • Completes batch record documentation correctly with emphasis on proper issuance of drug product and packaging components, in-process requirements and reconciliation procedures.
  • Monitors the Quality of product by completing the In-Process Tests throughout the production run and

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within packaging in a GMP environment
  • Supervision or lead experience would be considered an asset
  • Mathematical and analytical skills needed to complete required documentation in a thorough and accurate manner.
  • Precision and high attention to detail required completing In-Process Tests, monitor production lines, review and complete documentation, etc.
  • Machine operating and assembly line experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or food packing industry).
  • Effective interpersonal/communication skills to work in a team environment.

Shift Time:
Sunday’s: 10:15 PM – 7:15 AM
Monday’s through Thursday’s: 11:30 PM – 7:15 AM
