The Canada Division Manager will plan, direct, train and evaluate the overall service and sales activities of the Pest Elimination Division - Canada with a focus on providing exceptional pest elimination services. The position will lead and direct a sales and service team to significantly increase the penetration of the Pest Elimination Division and build strong and lasting relationships with customers across Canada. The position will lead corporate account sales across Canada and interface with the Corporate Accounts team for North America.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent Ecolab experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing managers
  • Sales/service delivery experience with at least 6 - 8 years demonstrated sales/service management experience with national or regional or corporate accounts sales/service management exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales/service delivery strategies.
  • Management experience within the food service industry is an asset.
  • Able to travel to the US for training/meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for 8 District Managers, CAM and SDM team.
  • Responsible for managing Canada Pest P&L.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve sales plan through customer growth, new customer activity, competitor inroads, and leveraging CTC. opportunities. Additionally, ensure the achievement of the sales plan is accomplished at a rate and profit margin consistent with the regional business plan.
  • Ensure all the drivers contributing to market penetration and growth are in place and working effectively in order to optimize growth and further expand the Pest Division’s leading market share.
  • Direct activities to create a high level of customer satisfaction through the adoption and rollout of Pest Intelligence, provision of rapid response, excellent results, value-added services, and effective customer communication and relationships.
  • Review escalated complaints or service issues and review corrective actions with District Managers and other appropriate associates.
  • Accelerate sales through multiyear partnerships and/or strategic alliance agreements with key Global, National and strategic accounts. Focus on pursuing highly visible, progressive, profitable market leading accounts that are strategic to Ecolab’s future and growth.
  • Stay informed regarding changes and trends with national chains; communicate current market information such as trends, sales techniques, application of products in various markets, suggested marketing programs, etc. to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Provide support to management team for the full range of management issues relating to recruitment, training, development, employee relations, planning and organization of a professional, service-oriented, customer focused sales team.
  • Develop, maintain and motivate a high-performance sales/service team to maximize efficient utilization of company personnel, equipment and resources
