JOB DESCRIPTION

The co-op/intern will join Canadian Card Payments, Loyalty & Personal Lending (CCPL&PL) line of business and will support any of the following business group and projects / initiatives

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Self-starter, independent, proactive, and committed to high standards of excellence and ownership
  • Analysis of large amount of data using advanced Excel skills to support conclusions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
  • Self-driven and detailed oriented

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in 3rd – 4th year of an undergraduate degree OR master’s degree in of Engineering, Operations, Innovation & Technology, Business / Commerce, Risk, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate / master’s degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively engage and partner with management and stakeholders to support the design and delivery of CCPL&PL’s products vision, features, and business objectives
  • Review and understand the Enterprise credit risk framework that relate to CPB and CCPL&PL products and execute activities needed to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Manage delivery initiatives and oversee development team (pod) backlogs to make sure product features are scoped and prioritized
  • Assist the Product Owner in developing business objectives working in a cross-functional agile team to deliver improved customer experiences
  • Track and provide performance analytics / metrics / insights and recommend strategies to enhance the customer or end user product experience
  • Deliver regular scans of competitive landscape and offerings by keeping a close pulse on the external environment
