Capital Accountant

at  Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BRING:

• ACCA or ACA qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an accountant, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial and accounting procedures
• Experience of using accounting software is essential, and any experience of system improvements would be beneficial
• Proven experience of financial management and reporting within a regulated environment
• Experience of capital management
• Proactive approach to problem-solving by identifying issues and finding appropriate solutions
• Strong analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial matters to non-financial staff at all levels
  Experience in treasury management, dealing with multiple currencies and/or tax management would also be highly advantageous, however, this is not essential.
