REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters preferred or Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering, science (physics, chemistry, petroleum, geology), statistics, operations research, economics, or allied fields
- 1 year of experience in Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS)
- Preferred minimum of 1 year experience operating in a relevant industry
- Proven record of using a variety of statistical methods to analyse large amounts of data
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Demonstrable superior English language written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel functions
- Intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn
- Solid analytical skills
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent listening, presentation, and report writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels with client companies and to liaise with people from other cultures
- Flexibility in taking on a variety of assignments
- European languages (French, German) would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing directly with clients to collect project technical data and uncover areas of risk
- Writing reports to provide insight and recommendations for clients
- Delivering verbal feedback and presentations to technical and business audiences
- Working collaboratively with capital project teams and project organisations to improve business competitiveness
- Conducting research on the drivers of project success and failure using statistics and IPA’s proprietary database
- Travel internationally to our clients and other IPA offices on a regular basis including the USA 20 percent of the time
