The Opportunity
The Capital Transactions Analyst will support the Retail Capital Transactions team to deliver on internal transaction activities, tracking and reporting of market activity as well as support the workings of the overall investment strategy as required. Working closely with our team of Transactions Managers, you will be involved in the end-to-end transaction process for retail acquisitions and divestments, including engagement with a broad breadth of business departments internally, along with external agencies, to deliver exception results.

You will make an impact by:

  • Collaborating with Transactions Managers and General Manager in identifying and articulating property risk and opportunity relating to revenue, expenses and capital expenditure
  • Providing timely and accurate transaction modelling inputs and outputs
  • Providing support throughout the end-to-end due diligence process for transactions
  • Providing analysis and modelling for strategic review of internal and external assets
  • Assisting in maintaining ongoing deal activity and reporting in key systems and forums

About You
The ideal candidate will present circa 2-4 years’ experience in an analytical capacity within the property / real estate industry. Through your career, you will have built strong modelling experience and can proactively self-lead recommendations and conclusions. Partnered with excellent communication skills, you will showcase strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills allowing you to build effective, influential, and authentic working relationships. A positive attitude, ability to remain flexible and agile in a changing and demanding environment as well as the ability to take ownership of tasks will see you succeed in this role.
