REQUIRED SKILLS.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in capture management, business development, or a related role, with a focus on small business environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully capturing new business opportunities and managing proposal processes.
  • Strong understanding of the government contracting process and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Federal Agencies

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the capture strategy development for new business opportunities, including identifying target markets, customers, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that align with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform capture strategies and identify emerging trends.
  • Manage the capture pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of progress and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain capture plans, action items, and timelines to ensure successful bid submissions.
  • Participate in proposal reviews and provide feedback to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
