Overview:
The Business Support Specialist provides excellent customer service, maintaining a professional, yet positive approach while providing clerical and business support duties for the unit, including, but not limited to patient insurance verification, insuring authorization for services, scanning prenatal records, scheduling all Cardiac Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures, reconciling charges and acquiring all statistical data required to complete the scheduling and reimbursement data.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with one-year post high school education or 5 years Healthcare experience.
• Experience: 5 years prior electronic medical record experience within a hospital/healthcare organization. Indepth knowledge of medical terminology.
