Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our cardiology team.
You will have the opportunity to work both in our day ward, CDCU and our Cath Lab, scrubbing for procedures and following the patient journey throughout their treatment.
We have a dedicated and supportive team who are welcoming to new staff and many learning opportunities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital for a compassionate, dynamic nurse.
We are looking for someone who is eager and keen to facilitate a seamless service to patients.
The Cardiac Cath lab at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital is a busy department with patients undergoing treatments such as: Angiograms, PCIs, Pacemakers and Loop Implants. Although predominantly based at Grimsby, some cross-site work, to cover our services, may be required.
We have a close working relationship with radiographers, cardiac physiologists and consultants.
The role is vital in supporting the cardiac manager to ensure high standards of care are maintained. The successful candidate will be service-driven with the desire to improve services to our patients, whilst leading a team with positivity. They will be punctual, reliable, flexible and honest.
NLAG is part of one of the largest acute and community Group arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Group has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.
As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Group and our community.
Should we receive a high volume of applications the advert may be closed earlier than stated.
