Band 7 Cardiac CT Lead Specialist Radiographer, to support Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC)
We have an opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic, motivated Radiographer to join our friendly dedicated teams of CT Radiographers.
We are looking for pioneering and innovative Cardiac CT Radiographer who is keen to experience delivering a varied workload.

If so we have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiac CT Radiographer to join and lead our Cardiac CT service.
This post will also support the expansion of the CT service with the additional scanning capacity at the Hull Community Diagnostic Hub, currently being constructed in the city centre of Hull.
The Hub will be equipped with two Canon Serve SP CT scanners utilising the latest Instinx interface.
Emergency cover for contrast reactions at the CDC will be Radiographer led. Radiographers working at the CDC are trained to ILS level (training will be provided) and independently administer contrast media without medical supervision.
The service you provide will support the delivery of CT capacity at all HUTH sites. (Castle Hill and Hull Royal Infirmary, and CDC). across all specialities which includes Neuro, Body, Cardiac, Ortho, Vascular and Research imaging services
You will lead the Cardiac CT service contributing to capacity and demand management and ensuring the Cardiac CT service is delivered to a high stand. The successful candidate will lead training in Cardiac CT.
We are currently introducing Radiographer Led Cardiac CT lists.
This is a senior role and the successful candidate will be required to contribute and assist with the leadership and management of the CT department.
On Call commitment for Castle Hill Hospital will be required.
In addition to the CDC the CT department has 5 CT scanners: - (1 x Canon Aquilion Prime, 1 x Canon Aquilion One Genesis, 1 x Siemens Edge plus, 1 x Siemens X.cite scanner and 1 x Siemens Go Top).
The department is committed to the continuing education of our Radiographers. CPD is actively encouraged and supported with the Radiology department running a number of educational events throughout the year, and Radiographers are encouraged to study for Post graduate qualifications. The department currently has Radiographers reporting CTC examinations.
A substantial relocation package will be available for any applicants outside the area. Applicants already within the region will be considered on an individual basis.
