Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our well established Cardiothoracic Pre-Habilitation Service. You will be working in both acute Cardiothoracic wards and undertake Pre-Habilitation, working alongside and independently to deliver the pioneering service across Swansea bay and Hywel Dda You will also be expected to complete a range of administrative tasks.
You will be based in Swansea (Morriston Hospital) but be expected to cover across Swansea Bay UHB and Hywel Dda when needed.
To support physiotherapists, the exercise team and occasionally wider MDT in the assessment and provision of Pre-Habilitation to patients with cardiothoracic conditions.
The post is line managed by the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for cardiothoracic Pre -Habilitation and clinical work is guided by the thoracic team . Guided by policies & procedures and established precedents the post holder is required to work unsupervised, undertaking independent interventions and decision making within agreed protocols in hospital and community settings, although supervision and support is readily available.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
